Velux Windows
To create extra bedrooms, bathrooms, play areas and hobbies room – to name a few – surprisingly a large percentage of Loft Conversions to fit these needs will only require Velux Window(s). This allows for less alterations within the roof space and therefore evidently the most cost effective way of doing so.
Dormers, Gables & New Roofs
However, at times the simple need of ‘gaining light’ is not the only issue when converting a Loft. Some people are not fortunate to have enough useful loft space. When a project like this arise, we then have to consider other possibilities and the next steps of design such as: building Dormers, altering a Hip roof to a Gable, or even completing an entire ‘roof off’ and creating a whole new roof.

We will take every project from feasibility to design to obtaining all approval’s from local council. In some cases planning approval is necessary but many do not realise that some projects can be built under ‘Permitted Development’ which is determined by percentage/ volume of the space you wish to create.
